Dear friends!
You are holding in your hands the third issue of our Artistique magazine, part of which is dedicated to the Year of the Family.
For us, family is first and foremost about continuity. There is no greater happiness than to see one's children in the ranks of like-minded people. They are involved from a very early age, participating as much as they can in their creative work, and as they grow older, they help us mount exhibitions and organize excursions. Among the artists involved in our projects there are whole dynasties - second and even third generation of creative people.
In the last issue we talked about the development of cultural tourism in the republic. We have formed a cultural-tourist route Izhevsk - Sarapul - Karakulino with visits to five museums. A very rich program for all tastes for children and adults, a wonderful option for a family weekend trip.
A few years ago LAB had arts and crafts workshops - painting, dolls, weaving.... Children and parents were passionate about creating beauty with their hands. Pandemic and other problems forced us to temporarily stop the workshops, but next year we intend to re-launch this project.
One more piece of good news: we are registering a public organization "Association of Private Museums of the Udmurt Republic", which has been joined by the USSR Museum and "Orangery of Arts" (Izhevsk), the museum-business complex "Morok" (Sarapul), the estate of merchant Vedernikov (Karakulino) - and us, "La bohème artistique". The first year will be a pilot year: we will work out the tools and mechanisms of interaction between ourselves and the authorities, find ways to involve the audience. When we have properly tested the project, we will be ready to accept new participants.
We congratulate all those who study and teach on the new academic year!
New knowledge, perseverance and creativity!
