Exhibitions of two Izhevsk artists opened in Bulgaria

The year 2019 marks 20 years of friendship between the twin cities of Yambol and Izhevsk. In honor of this event, two exhibitions of artists from Izhevsk opened in the People's Library "Concord 1862" of Yambol on January 14.

They are dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the friendship of the twin cities of Yambol and Izhevsk.


The year 2019 marks 20 years of friendship between the twin cities of Yambol and Izhevsk. In honor of this event, two exhibitions of artists from Izhevsk - "Russian North" by Alexander Kokorin and "My Impressions" by Tatiana Pachgina - opened in the People's Library "Concord 1862" of Yambol on January 14, the organizers report.

The residents of Yambol got an opportunity to see unique oil paintings by Professor Kokorin. Artist Pachgina, who has been living in Bulgaria for 6 years, works in the technique of oil painting and shows her view of this country.

This is the third international exhibition of Izhevsk artists. The first exhibition was held in October 2018 in the city of Burgas with the support of Honorary Consul of Russia in Burgas Tonko Fotev. The second - in December 2018 in Sofia in the Russian Information and Cultural Center with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Bulgaria.
