The exhibition was presented by artist Tatyana Pachgina. She told the audience that Alexander Kokorin is a graphic artist who started painting with oil almost by accident, about five years ago. He received a can of oil as a gift from Udmurt oil workers, tried to use it as paint, and that's how his new creative milestone began.

According to Tatiana Pachgina, Kokorin emphasizes that oil is a very economical material: in five years, only a couple of liter cans were used for paintings. However, it is very difficult to paint with oil, as the artist has no opportunity to do "work on mistakes", it is necessary to paint very accurately at once.

The exhibition at the Russian Cultural Information Center presents a cycle of works called "Russian North". It reveals the history of Siberia - from the beginning of its conquest to the present day. The theme of Siberian spirituality and its temples is separately revealed.
