I was born in 1970 and grew up in the city of Kirov. From childhood I drew, led a wall newspaper, but the dream to finish art school remained a dream for a long time. I graduated from Kirov Polytechnic Institute, worked as an accountant, and declarant and logistician, worked in Kirov, Kostroma region, St. Petersburg, but always drew, painted pictures, gave their work to friends and family.
Familiar invited to work in the Krasnodar region to engage in creativity - ceramics and painting with children. And then at the age of 46 I decided to fulfill my dream and entered the Novgorod College of Arts named after S. Rachmaninov. In 2020 I graduated from the college with honors, specializing in Fine Arts and Fine Arts. I am very grateful to my wonderful teachers and artists E. A. Vasilieva, G. A. Lagutina, N. E. Andreev.
Participated in the exhibition of amateur artists in St. Petersburg, Manezh, exhibited works in the library of Kirov, participated in online exhibitions. Published a book of poems for children with his own illustrations "Kind Poems", illustrated a book of young author L. Laletin "18 smart thoughts of Leo".
Works are in private collections in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kirov, Veliky Novgorod, Pyatigorsk, Kostroma region, Krasnodar region and Adygea. I have my own group in Vkontakte "kind paintings.kind poems", where I introduce my friends with new works.
The subjects of my paintings are the world around me: cute animals, impressions of the day. People ask me: how is a painting born? I answer in different ways. Sometimes you think for a long time over the composition, picking colors, and sometimes you meet something that is cute alive and want to capture it. Here we went in the fall with my sister for redfish. Mushroom hunters know that redfish grow only in certain places. Far we went, tired, and on the way back to us an unexpected gift - at the edge of the forest sits a beautiful fox, a man is not very wary, probably her shepherds fed her. We had nothing to give it, and this cute animal was sitting as if posing.
When I came home and started to write, so the painting "Forest Girlfriend" appeared.
Or we had a cat in the house, shy but very beautiful. And I wanted to paint him with a bouquet of rose hips.
When I have no ideas, or just stagnate, I always go to a museum or an exhibition. I love the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the New Tretyakovka - Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, or exhibitions on the streets where paintings are sold. It's always interesting what the artist wants to tell about.
Because every painting is a story, and the author always tells it as he sees it.
I love working on portraits from life, it's exciting, especially when the image is formed, I remember the portrait of Victoria, the facial features are large, even rough, but the image is feminine.
From materials I like gouache, oil less often, I don't always have the opportunity to work in oil, acrylics are mainly used for decorative paintings.
I don't like questions about genres and styles, creativity is creativity. When you look at great artists in museums, you may not always be able to tell what genre or style it is, it's more a question for art historians, but you can always feel the energy of the canvas.
We have a huge number of creative people, I love both paintings and decorative and applied art, and I really want as many people as possible to understand and understand the living art.
