Painter, graphic artist. Born December 2, 1931 in Kuibyshev.
In 1951-54 studied at the Voroshilovgrad Art School. In 1954-60 he continued his studies at the Faculty of Painting at the Kharkov Art Institute (portrait and genre workshop of Professor S.F.Besedin). After graduation he left for the Far East, and in 1968 he moved to Izhevsk, in the same year he was accepted as a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and began teaching at the Art and Graphic Institute of the Udmurt State University until 1975.
