Abakumov Vladimir Nikolaevich

Vladimir Nikolaevich since 1970 travels on creative business trips to Udmurtia, the result was a large and interesting series of works about the nature of this wonderful region. Collected impressions, sketches, sketches show that the artist very subtly and penetratingly felt the peculiarity of the beauty of Udmurtia.

In 1969 he enters the Udmurt State Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Art and Graphic Arts, where he learned the skills of wonderful artists and teachers: Rylov Y.I., Kholmogorov A.P., Repin G.A., Vinogradov S.N.

In 1972 he became a participant of the Republican Youth Exhibition. Since that moment Vladimir Nikolaevich - the participant of all subsequent city and republican exhibitions.

In 1990 Abakumov was directed on the Academic creative dacha named after I.Repin. For his works at the creative dacha Vladimir was recommended to be a member of the Union of Artists.

In 1993, Vladimir Nikolayevich took part in the art exhibition of Udmurt artists at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow.

Since 1977 to this day Abakumov has been an active teacher at art schools in Izhevsk. The result of this activity was the awarding of the title of Honored Worker of Culture of Udmurtia in 2006.
